Headquartered in Singapore, TANTEX is a design, sourcing, and manufacturing partner delivering end-to-end apparel and textile production for international retailers and brands. Since 1991, we have built a controlled, multi-country manufacturing network across Southeast Asia and China.

We manage production across Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam, providing scalability, flexibility, and risk diversification. Many of our partnerships span 20 to 30 years, ensuring continuity and operational alignment. Prior to 2005, our footprint also extended to Mauritius, South Africa, and Swaziland, reflecting our adaptability to evolving trade environments.

Our product range spans nightwear, leisurewear, beachwear, lingerie, outerwear, and core apparel categories.

From an initial order of 2,000 pieces, TANTEX has grown into an established partner managing scalable, high-volume production. Through structured planning, compliance oversight, quality control, and coordinated logistics, we deliver consistent, commercially competitive outcomes.

1991

Founded Tantex Pte Ltd in Singapore

Began garment manufacturing through partners in Indonesia and Malaysia

1993

Acquired office space in Jakarta, Indonesia to support sourcing operations

1994

Expanded sourcing operations to Myanmar (ceased in 1997)

Expanded sourcing operations to Cambodia

1996

Relocated Jakarta office to a larger, self-owned space to support growing operations

1997

Expanded sourcing operations to Mauritius and Swaziland (now Eswatini) (both ceased in 2004)

2002

Extended garment sourcing network to China

2005

Established Tantex Representative Office in Shanghai, China

Acquired self-owned office space in Shanghai to support China operations

2006

Began garment manufacturing through partners in Vietnam

2014

Re-entered the garment sourcing market in Myanmar (ceased in 2019)
